What is Sublimation?

    Sublimation is a process for transferring an image from a computer's printer on to a "substrate," The substrate could be a mouse pad, a mug or a sheet of metal - it's just some material which has a coating receptive to sublimation.

   InkJet sublimation is the most common type of sublimation, and many people are totally unaware that sublimation with a laser printer is possible.

    Laser sublimation and InkJet sublimation both use a heat press to transfer an image, but the similarity ends there. To see which is right for you, click here.

  We specialize in laser sublimation, which is used primarily in the awards industry to transfer images onto metal surfaces.

   For making plaques and trophy plates, there is nothing better. Laser sublimation is beautiful, fast, easy and extremely profitable.  We recently ran a test in which we produced over 32,000 3" x 2" trophy plates from one $269 SubToner cartridge. Which makes the per-transfer cost not even a penny.

  Laser Sublimation uses regular copy paper and a conventional laser printer. The SubToner cartridge can sit for months while the printer is using regular toners to print invoices and brochures, and then you can just switch cartridges and instantly produce sublimation transfers. No head cleaning, no nozzle checks, just install the cartridge and print.

  We offer complete packages, HP LaserJet printer and SubToner cartridge, starting under $300. There are currently four packages available.
